October 5th Network Leader Roundtable: Training Diverse Planters with Liz Rios of Passion2Plant
Often networks train diverse planters in ways that actually undermine their own identity in Christ and potentially harm the communities they are planting in. Join Rev. Dr. Liz Rios of Passion2Plant to discover how diverse planters need to "unlearn" some Western theological perspectives and empire-building tendencies. With prophetic insight, she’ll help us consider how to enter a community ecosystem and prepare the ground to establish the trust that is needed to start new churches that help their community to flourish.
A thought leader in evangelism and church planting, Rev. Dr. Liz Rios is the founder of a non-traditional faith community and missional training center focused on biblical justice called The Passion Center. She is also an adjunct professor at Fuller Seminary, serves on the Missiologists Council for the Wheaton College’s Church Multiplication Institute, and has been working in ministry and advocating for the local church for more than 29 years.
